Visionaries GP Judith Dada joins Langdock as co-CEO; AI model platform hits $40M ARR, eyes 2026 fundraise
Judith Dada, general partner at Berlin-based VC firm Visionaries Club, is joining Berlin AI platform Langdock as co-CEO starting September while remaining a senior partner at Visionaries and continuing to do deals opportunistically. Langdock, which provides a unified chat interface for companies to switch between different LLM providers (Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral), recently hit $40 million in annual recurring revenue and is profitable.
The startup raised $3 million in Series A in 2024 led by General Catalyst and the former La Famiglia team (where Dada was an investor). Langdock has more than 10,000 customers from small to large companies and is planning a new fundraise later in 2026. Dada's operational focus will be external-facing: building relationships with policymakers and customers, making the public case for responsible AI adoption, and handling communications and marketing.
For the European AI infrastructure space, the move reflects broader interest in sovereign AI capabilities—particularly post-Anthropic's recent export control restrictions. Dada cited the importance of independent model access as AI becomes a core business competitiveness asset. Langdock operates on Microsoft Azure (a potential vulnerability under the US Cloud Act), but Dada noted the company is exploring solutions—though declined to share specifics.
