Google Cloud has released Agents CLI, a command-line tool that covers the end-to-end lifecycle of AI agent development — scaffolding, local testing, deployment, and monitoring — within a single developer interface built on top of Vertex AI Agent Builder.
The tooling targets platform and ML engineering teams who prefer infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD-native workflows over console-based drag-and-drop builders. It competes directly with LangChain CLI and Anthropic's developer SDKs for the "agentic DevOps" workflow surface.
